Le Monde, June 21, 1994
"The children of Abraham should never again be separated!" During a recent meeting at the Sorbonne, organized by the Association for International Muslim-Christian Dialogue and Interreligious Conferences (ADIC), personalities such as the Chief Rabbi René Samuel Sirat; the Cardinal Franz Koenig, former Archbishop of Vienna; and Dean Mahmoud Zagzoug, representative of the Shaykh of al-Azhar in Cairo, launched a common appeal for fraternity among the three monotheistic religions. They invited the religions to establish, "a permanent international forum of dialogue and solidarity in all major metropolises of the world".
